Personal banking redesign | Vendor tech migration

Situation + Problem(s)

Vendor (FIS) is sunsetting legacy product, no longer supporting enhancements.

CNB's personal banking experience needs to either convert to new vendor product or build in-house.

🛠️Methodology

To build in-house, I prioritized capabilities and features, decomposed into a Kanban, Jira initiatives, epics, stories.

Reviewed all present and future state content and designs in Figma, ensured sync with design system and CNB voice.

📈Result

14% saved in annual expenses by migrating FinTech products to in-house

8% increase in digital enrollment speed after Account Summary launch

Launched CDs amid a crowded marketplace

• Conducted competitive research across 10+ banks offering CDs
• Contributed to content for public pages:

• Worked with lead designer for desktop and mobile app onboarding
• Ensured design system 'progress stepper' element incorporation:

• Applied AI for pre-filled/suggested account funding deposit amounts
• CD Terms, minimum funding amounts, and renewal options were key elements for the UX:

• Authentication, 2FA/MFA, Paperless, T&Cs, Disclosures... Important pieces!
